I’m looking for a scripter with passion to rewrite the code of my latest medieval/fantasy-themed RPG game, The Lords of Nomrial.
At the moment, the game is quite a mess and this needs to be organized. The game currently has lots of errors such as an unstable save/load system (using DataStores), way too many scripts used for quite simple things causing major lag, an unstable custom chat and toolbar and more. I’m not a great scripter myself and an old friend scripted most of what it is right now.
Here is a simple list of several changes in aspects the game needs such as:
[li]Improved drop system: Monsters should have a certain chance to drop items instead of always dropping it. When an item is dropped, it should locally appear on the ground and the player has an option to pick it up.[/li]
[li]An inventory system: The game currently only has a custom toolbar with weapons. I’d like to expand this and give players an option to buy potions and possibly other items dropped by monsters. The inventory should have a maximum capacity.[/li]
[li]Advanced quest log: There are several quests in the game. A quest log showing which quests have been started and which not, showing the quest’s information as in description and progress would be a huge improvement.[/li]
Please check out the game to get a better vision of what it is right now and how these improvements can be implemented the best way. All the art and building will be done by myself. I’m willing to pay 100K Robux if everything turns out nice and stable. Depending on the quality of the newer aspects of the game, this amount can eventually be raised. You will be credited.
