Scripting colors not saving

When I have dark mode enabled in studio, the scripts remain in light mode. I’ve also tried setting custom colors for scripts and such, it doesn’t save after I restart studio or even close and re-enter the script.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

I’ve tried searching on YouTube and Google, as well as asking friends and there have not been anything that I could find. I don’t know if anyone else is experiencing the same issue or not.

Sorry if this is in the wrong category, feel free to let me know which category it should be in down in the comments!

You should try resetting studio, but be aware, this will wipe all of your customization.

I already tried that two times, I’ll test it again though. Thanks so much!

Go to studio settings, then ScriptEditorColors, and then change the Background Color setting.

When you’re setting the colour, are you setting it when you’re editing a game, or on the game view? If you’re changing your settings while editing a game, try it in the game view when you first open Studio. Also, after you apply the settings, try restarting studio.

Alright, thanks for the advice! I’ll try it right now and let you know.

Not really sure where to go from here. Sounds like a bug, you should probably contact Roblox support.

If you are still having issues, try disabling all of your plugins. As they sometimes automatically set the colors for the script editor. If that doesn’t work then it’s probably a bug, as the boi before me suggested.
