Also, can you add back “Group Models”, “Group Images”, etc… here so we can search for them? It was removed a while back and made the experience worse for me, especially since everything is uploaded under a group and not my Roblox Profile.
With such an improvement to the audio tab, I feel like having more options available in the filters will help a lot of people, especially beginners who will likely not know that their search query can be this detailed. For example, when trying to find rock/metal music, an ‘Intensity’ option would be helpful. When trying to find light background music, this filter could be set to something along the lines of ‘slow’ or ‘chill’. Or when trying to find loud, dramatic music, the filter could be set to ‘fast’ or ‘intense’. A community tagging system could also pull this off, but I feel like adding more filtering options would be the most efficient and user-friendly way to achieve this.
Are there any plans to add a search function to personal/group assets in the toolbox? Currently it is extremely difficult to overwrite an asset (such as an animation) when there are hundreds of assets already uploaded. In addition, the Creations page on the Creator Dashboard also needs a search function for the same reasons.
Now, where’s the “Recently created” sorting option? You guys removed that, and I assume you’re going to re-implement it and act as if it never existed before.
This is great and all, but we still need music genres.
It is an absolute nightmare looking for a specific genre, for example jazz. Whenever I type in jazz, only two results are actually jazz, the rest is everything but jazz.
I’m assuming the search improvements aren’t changing this specific search box, and more instead towards the item library / toolbox. So, thanks for that!
Hopefully, this will fix the issue of having completely different results from what I searched. I’ve tried searching for one thing and would get zero results, even though it was easy to understand. Here’s a picture of this occurring.
Many users aren’t able to search their own, or something off the topic they are searching pops up.
Also I cannot search for music on Roblox. I have to manually put the url in the search bar.
Thank God! I was forced to use the APM music website to search for music, though there was no hope for sound effects, I was forced to upload my own since the marketplace search was completely useless. This changes everything.
