(This is my first public topic aside from a bulletin board so sorry if I used the wrong category for this post)
I made a game back in the fourth of September, 2022 under a group. and made it public on July 18th, 2023.
Before I changed the name of the game, it would appear after some large amounts of scrolling and quotes, I expected it.
On July 27th, 2024, I changed the name of the game from “King of the Hill” into “King of the Ascent”, this is due to the overusage of the term “king of the hill”. “King of the Ascent” showed no results when searching, which I interpreted as no games with that name.
After changing the name, I looked up the game, first with quotes, and another time without.
Nothing.
It was possible this was the algorithm adjusting to the change, so I waited. The next day, I tried again,
noting.
I then tried looking up the game in Spanish (with quotes), and the game appeared as the only game. I tried again in English, and the results show nothing.
It appears that the algorithm refuses to show our game in English, but is fine with it in other languages?
