Hi everyone,
The Team Im employed for is currently facing a common challenge and would love to hear your insights. Our Team is rapidly expanding, and we’re bringing on new developers. I want to give them access to the necessary assets models and textures that Ive created, so they can contribute effectively. However, I’m also concerned about how we protecting these assets from potential theft or anything else outside of Our Team
Specifically, We looking for advice on:
- Secure asset distribution: What are the best methods for us to share assets without exposing the raw files in a way that allows easy copying?
- Access control: How can we limit what developers can see and modify?
- Version control and tracking: How can we monitor changes and ensure that our assets are used only for our projects and commissions?
- Legal Advances: Are there any legal agreements or licenses we should implement to protect our intellectual property?
- Best practices for onboarding: How do we introduce new developers to this new system?
I’m open to any suggestions, including website recommendations, workflow strategies, and general tips for having a secure enviroment for our Assets.
Thank you all in advance for your help!
