What exactly are you referring to with “product”?

With products, they’re targeting at closed-source models, generally obfuscated and protected by a whitelist to sell licenses (eg CheckMeIn, paid weapon systems, exploit scripts).

Wouldn’t recommend this business model though. Most paid resources are meant as time-saver, you shouldn’t waste all your time fighting piracy with obfuscation & whitelists, high-value customers will refrain from buying products they can’t vet, maintain & adapt to their games.

Notable developers have instead opted for using a marketplace as Itch. For a fair price, the developer receives the full source code which the customer can then fit into their game. It’s a system of trust, but it seems to work out better than for those who don’t.

I’m personally an “open-source guy” but this seems kinda interesting. I might check it out some time.

very interesting, ive tried doing something like this before but couldn’t figure out how to do it without it being bypassed. definitely something i will look into later.

With this system, it’s all about security and after you input your code stuff you obfuscate the whole script with your preferred obfuscator (We do not provide an obfuscator just the API).

Untouchable is super inaccurate most if not all VM based obfuscators are vulnerable. It just takes 1 person (who is capable) to want the code enough.

The API is tamper-proof, so even if you crack the obfuscation around the script, you will still need to bypass the API, which you will probably fail if you try. The obfuscation is the only flaw as that’s not our speciality as we don’t obfuscate scripts.
