I just made a sword slash animation, as I am not a professional animator (tbh I’m kinda bad at it), I wanted to seek advice and feedback for my animation, here is the animation.
The swing looks a bit off, because the sword should always be tilted in a way so that the sharp edge is used for attacking.
Try rotating the arm holding the sword about 80 degrees to the right or something and work from there.
Animation has anticipation (The part where the sword moves back before hitting), but lacks the aftermath. Try copying the very last set of frames, then pasting them a few frames away from the previous last frames, and then slightly alter them (do make sure it follows along the momentum!)
If doesn’t ease out very smooth.
