Greetings, long time no see.

I’ve recently resumed developing on Roblox after a 2-3 year break working on other projects, and I’ve found that I’ve forgotten the basics. I’m reaching out for some assistance and guidance.

1. What do I want to achieve?
I’m looking to add sound effects and songs to the main menu of my Roblox game.

2. What is the issue?
Every sound or song I’ve tried to use, including those provided by Roblox, prompts a message saying, “I need permission to use this.” It’s worth noting that these are placeholders for now.

3. What solutions have I tried so far?
I’ve done some searches to find a solution but haven’t had any luck, which is why I’m turning to the community for help.

Any advice or assistance, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.

Roblox made an update that songs/audios people make are now going to be only able to be used by them due to copyright infringement unless they give other creators permission. In tool box in studio under audio those ones should work.

So If I Uploaded a Copyright free song I shouldn’t have a Issue (Just as a Placeholder)?

Yes that is correct. But the songs will only work for your games unless you give permission to others.
