Running windows 10 as well.
Haven’t been able reproduce this slow down. I have no significant delay when selecting anything aside from the the very brief pause which was said to be normal. I tried duplicating the castle starter place to increase the part count and still had no noticeable delays, even ungrouped everything to see if that had an effect. The initial ungrouping halted studio for a while, but once it came back I still found no performance issues.
I have windows 10 too and this is also happening just for today. I don’t recall it happening any other days this past week while in studio.
Also experiencing this right now, started happening after the “Play here” update, at first I thought it was my computer but it is really ROBLOX studio which slowed down enormously…
Same here, thought it was my recent plugin but it’s not. Even in an empty place it definitely feels laggy enough for me to notice something is up.
I’m getting these symptoms as well.
I thought it was just me, thankfully it isn’t!
Is it the switch to metal?
I’ve been noticing this as well. Doing anything within studio has a noticeable “stick” to it where it didn’t before. I’m glad I’m not the only one having this issue- I thought my graphics card was going out again or something.
Alright, found what I think is a repro for this. It should be fixed after a Studio restart shortly.
I thought it was something wrong with my new desktop. Thank goodness it’s not!
