(cant access bug reports and i dont think its a bug sooo)
I am not sure what happened, but bounding boxes dont seem to work with cylinders anymore. It just works on the actual cylinder itself, but not the hitbox. It’s been confusing me and I think I’ve accidentaly triggered a setting.
The handles are showing that your Cylinder Y and Z dimensions are different. The SelectionBox used to be rectangular in this case, but they’ve probably changed it to better represent the cylinder hitbox.
I noticed that issue too, I just wish they revert this because I really can’t tell where the edges of the part itself are anymore, as knowing this was really helpful with some of my builds (I mean to center cylinders relatively to another part). This was an issue with the new bounding boxes which made me revert to the old ones, and it really annoys me that they did the exact same with these. Like really, this really wasn’t needed imo.
And @hdsjgfdjskv yes, it’s different.
I’m guessing they did it because of the actual size of the square hitbox of the Cylinder, not the SelectionBox.
It’s an extra couple steps, but you can switch the Cylinder to a Block, fit it in between 2 objects to center it, then switch it back to Cylinder when that’s done.
I haven’t tried it, but what about the Collisions (I think that’s what it’s called, I’m probably wrong) option in Studio. Would the resize tool be limited by the item(s) the Cylinder is hitting?
