Staff Promotion Guide

With the number of promotions we enjoy giving out to our staff and register workforce, we can’t accept every person to enter our most prestigious ranks. The Workforce department has come up with this guide and list of requirements to ensure that you meet our criteria before entering our ranks.

Barista Promotions
Once you achieve our Barista rank, you will no longer be attending training sessions to gain a promotion. Baristas are required to stay as active as possible for a minimum of 1-2 days to be noticed and promoted to Senior Barista. We look for Baristas that show diligence and possess great leadership skills to earn a spot in our Senior Barista rank. Remember that the limit for Senior Baristas is 300 members and is subject to lower at any point. If all places are filled, they must wait for a spot to open up.

Entering the Management Team
For Senior Baristas to get promoted to Supervisor, the individual trying to become a Supervisor should follow these steps. No guarantee following these steps will result in a promotion, but it will increase your chances of being noticed and recommended for Supervisor.
We’re looking for the best of the best out of our Senior Baristas who show that they have diligence, strategic thinking, possess great leadership skills, and know how to use correct and sophisticated grammar. We would also like you to use an upper scale of vocabulary, but not too excessively to the point where people can’t understand what you’re trying to say. Moreover, we would like our Senior Baristas who are looking to become part of our management team to work for 1-2 hours every week instead of working day-long shifts and being inactive during the next week(s). Senior Baristas are the head of our barista workforce, which means they have the utmost responsibility to solve problems and resolve feuds between other baristas.
Additionally, the Workforce department does not recommend that Senior Baristas supervise the cafe when admins are present on the server, nor should they be pretending to be an MR or pretending to use commands outside of your power range. This is impersonating a Management member and will not benefit you on your road to Supervisor.
On the other hand, if we open up Supervisor applications, we will not be promoting any Senior Baristas for the time being. If we plan to promote a Senior Barista before opening applications, they will be included in the passing results regardless of applying. Additionally, we are not looking for Senior Baristas to apply with 10+ sentences per question. As much as the department loves reading detailed applications, we have a high volume of applications to read which is why we ask that you use no more than 4-5 sentences per question.

Employee Application Guide

The Seltzer Workforce department has created this guide to benefit each applicant and individual interested in applying for our applications. The Workforce department would like you to review this to ensure the best possible outcome.

Middle-Rank Applications
When applying for our Middle-Rank Applications, the three main aspects that we’re looking for would be your grammar, previous experiences, and your detail you include within your application. We look for these to see that you’re somewhat dedicated or have your sights on with this position ready to start working if you do indeed pass.

Furthermore, we require all individuals to meet the requirements and check the requirements before applying to ensure that your application does not get automatically denied. Failure to meet requirements will result in a denial automatically, of course, exceptions can be made.

When writing your application, we request all interested applicants to provide detail and excellent grammar within your written application. When applying, we’d like you to provide a maximum of 4-5 sentences per answered question. Any more than 6 sentences per answer is considered unnecessary and might lower your chances of getting accepted. The reason behind this is that we specifically request 4-5 questions and not 6 or more. Additionally, our Human Resources department is required to skim through the applications as we don’t have time to personally review each application.

Once done with your application, please feel free to submit your application and it will be reviewed and the passers will be announced on the closing date.
