Hello developers! Previously awhile ago i made a devforum post on my newly made volumetric lightning system in real time, it supports both backlight and frontlight.
I further enhanced it to be in higher detail and quality rather in performance (as I don’t plan for this version to be in production quality)
This lighting looks VERY GOOD AND REALISTIC FOR ROBLOX! Good job on making this lighting! How long did it take to make it, and how did you make it? Will you use it in anything? I rate it 9/10!
Thank you for the feedback! It took me around a week or two of research, and putting all of them together. Although it is quite a hacky way to make this, the results in the end is absolutely stunning.
I probably will only use this for showcase projects and/or adding this as a volumetric light feature for my game as an ultra-quality level alongside with high, medium, low quality
