Other no circumstances should you use those words.

If you’re still unsure about doing this after getting a suffice amount of opinions, why still attempt at doing this at all? Just don’t do it.
Regardless of your intent on why you’re adding those words to your game, moderators barely check as to why you did such in the first place. If those words are prohibited in most cases and is clearly stated on the ToS/ToU, I think that’s enough to discourage developers to use these words for their games.
Additionally, while it is great that you intend on educating players, Roblox is not the place for all topics in history. If players want to learn more, there’s DuckDuckGo and Google.
I would strongly advise you not to do this even though you intent is good. Roblox moderators probably wont take your use case into account and only see these words and take action. This sort of stuff is best left for school and researching yourself.
It also suggested multiple times in the community rules that these sorts of topics/worlds aren’t allowed to be discussed:
Dangerous, unethical and illegal activities. Not only do we not allow these activities, we do not allow anyone discussing them or encouraging others to discuss (or take) such actions, including:
- Terrorism, Nazism or Neo Nazism, organized criminal activity, gangs and gang violence;
If the goal is simply to index history then I would talk about WWII in a very generic sense. I don’t think little kids need to learn about the atrocities of the Holocaust and such things that early. School tends to wait to a particular age before introducing it, which you as the developer do not have the control to do.
Honestly from my own experience you cannot predict ROBLOX staff, their actions differ per person and you just get lucky or you don’t. I made a game that sort of played out like russian roulette, but the gun doesn’t fire at anyone and no one gets hurt.
However ROBLOX still doesn’t care (my point still remains that I don’t see how being able to execute other players is totally fine but spinning a barrel and pulling the trigger is so horrible)
My game was public for months, but it blew up in like august and roblox took it down a few weeks later.
If I were you, there might not be muhc point of going ahead with it, because they won’t tell you what you need to change, they’ll just state it’s “inappropriate for ROBLOX”.
ROBLOX did talk about 13+ games becoming a thing, so maybe wait till then to start? I know I’m reuploading my game the second that becomes a thing.
I know for a fact that those words will get censored in-game. To be honest, if your game completely revolves around “Nazi’s” or “Hitler,” then I don’t think your game is possible. However, if it isn’t, try leaving those words out of it.
I would say your Russian Roulette game was very predictably going to be removed. Whether the gun ends up actually firing or not, that game is still completely inappropriate for the platform and its audience. The moderation action was entirely predictable in that case.
This is a good question and i’m afraid not, any realtion to the nazi regime is outlawed. You may be able to pass this by letting roblox know before hand but I doubt it.
You can call/mention a Roblox Staff here so he can reply us here!
From school, probably. I learned what these are without a Roblox game teaching me.
These topics are not appropriate for Roblox under any circumstance.

Contacting most Roblox staff members here on the forum about moderation issues wont get you far because lots of them don’t work in the Roblox moderation team. This means they wont be able to help you much. The only people that I am aware that work for the moderation team are the people in the Mod_Review_Requests group. However I doubt the people in this group will be able to help you much with your issue because they don’t know exactly how you are going to use these words in your game.
I can guarantee you this stuff isn’t allowed on Roblox because of the meaning behind it. It is honestly best to learn this stuff at school or do some research yourself to learn it.
Nice! But for that’s one of the reasons why Roblox Staff exists:
The Staff helps you on some questions/helps related with Roblox. I guess that asking to the Staff if this is allowed, they might say the reasons of why it’s allowed or not. Roblox Staff have a small chance to be wrong.
There’s always substitutions, try using imperialistic Germany, same thing with the Empire Of Japan. I’m a history buff like you, however there’s limits on a platform like this. I’d be glad to help you if you needed it.
I think that there’s a bigger issue at play here. Roblox wants to become more of a real platform instead of a kid’s game, and this mindless moderation is one of the few things that’s holding it back. There would be more older people who would play Roblox if everything wasn’t always geared towards kids. If Roblox were to ease the ToS and moderation, they would have a chance to compete with Steam and Epic Games.
Hmmmmm. The game might get removed because of that stuff. The White House got removed because of the Iran part of it even though there was a disclaimer.
Short answer: No.
Long Answer: Roblox is generally a playerbase of younger children and to keep the content appropriate for those of all ages (Since there is no age rating for games in roblox), you have to keep sensitive content out of your game. History games are awesome, and I really wish we had workarounds, but for the time being it really is not possible.
@BIueMalibu Since this probably won’t work out, you might want to start a World War II military group. I learned some things I didn’t know from a USM 1940s group. Just a suggestion if you want to stay in the WWII area and teach people about it.
Wasnt going to add the holocaust, just was gonna say something like Adolf Hitler was the leader of the Nazi party at this time
Edited question to clarify since there seems to be some misunderstanding
They will still be learning and having fun too though. It may be a example of the Super mario effect
