This is a little side project I’ve been working on for about 5 years now, on and off. I’m not entirely sure how far I’m wanting to go with it, but I have plans to create a fully fleshed out campaign with animated models and such. The game features all of the great Serious Sam-ness you’d expect from the original games. It currently uses a very basic tool-based framework I created 3 years ago, but I plan on updating it pretty soon. The game has around 395k plays, and I’m really excited about the half-mill mark that could be coming up in a few months, or weeks perhaps. I’ve spoke to Croteam regarding the project, and to my understanding, the game is okay as long as it doesn’t become commercial (which is great!) The game features sounds, textures, and models from the Xbox version so it feels like a true Serious Sam experience. It also has a Multiplayer (which currently has Roblox player models which I will be changing eventually.)
Numerous videos have been done on it, most of them being gameplay videos, or in some cases, commentaries. It’s also my first game that got accepted onto the Xbox port when they were doing the whole Acceptance Program (which I feel they should do now, since there’s a lot of bad games on the Xbox One now, some of them being scams from my last time playing on the Xbox port of Roblox…)
