So i’ve been experimenting with the inverse kinematics feature by building a spider creature (currently it does not, but it will use the teal blocks as goals for where to step). However, by default, the spider seems to completely straighten its limbs, like so:
I do not want this, as I feel it looks unnatural, and would prefer the limbs of the spider to have some sort of “maximum bend limit”, so that it can’t stand up straighter than around this:
Is there a way to do this? I’ve tried messing with constraints on various sections of the legs, but none of them seem to do anything, or are being overpowered by the inverse kinematics. I saw the “Pole” attribute in the documentation, but I cannot figure out if it is what i need or how to get it to work.
