Hello developers,
As you know the home page of a website is almost always the most visited section. That is why it should be updated (at least once in a while). This brings us over to the fact that the bottom part of the home page of the Developer Hub is not getting much attention. It is as if it has been left there, forgotten.
Displayed Games
First, there are only three displayed games (under the monthly recap section of the home page). I am not saying that they should not be there, I just feel as if there should be more shown here. It would also be cool if these get switched out every week or so.
Note how there are only three dots at the bottom, this signifies that there are only three games outlined here.
As an idea there can be top-ranking games shown here, such as:
- most players currently playing
- most visits
- highest rating
- most favorites
Creator Quotes
Also, the section titled “What Our Creators Are Saying” needs some attention. I believe that this section should be periodically updated with more quotes.
Do not get me wrong, these quotes are great. But there should be more added here.
As an idea, there can be quotes from people of:
- all ages/audiences
- many different backgrounds
And generally, it is also nice to see slightly different viewpoints as well.
Conclusion
That concludes what I have to say about the lower part of the Hub home page. Because a home page is the foundation of the entire site, it should be getting attention as to what is being shown here.
