Hello developers,
I was recently victim to a very unjustified account termination, which left me and fellow developers unable to access the game’s revenue causing us to lose 5000+ euros in devex robux.

I was banned for the DMCA Repeat Infringer Policy, which means i was striked multiple times for creating multiple “copyrighted” assets on the platform. However, in my case these strikes and also ban, were completely ridiculous.
For starters, the assets i was striked for were no longer owned by me. Back in 2018-2019 i created a bunch of random T-shirts with images like: spongebob, marshmellow, etc inside various groups.
These groups, i had already lost ownership to and left years ago which left me completely unattached to any of these assets.
(This ofcourse, when i was a bit younger and had no knowledge of anything copyright related, which a kid can’t be blamed for and so should not be so heavily penalized without consideration)
But that isn’t the only issue though, roblox claim to have sent a moderation notice to me to check my account for potential copyrighted assets and send them over. I never saw this moderation notice and found out they sent it via roblox messages, which is an awful choice of communication for such a serious issue. A moderation notice via mail would’ve been much better and that i would’ve seen.
In my opinion and the opinions of everyone i’ve discussed this with (friends, other developers, …) this ban is completely ridiculous.
Roblox is responsible for not communicating correctly that assets i no longer owned could affect my account aswell as not contacting me properly about any impending moderation issue.
And as you might expect i contacted support for this multiple times. Unfortunately they didn’t understand my situation as they kept responding with the same answer mentioning i was sent a moderation notice. (Even though they never sent me any moderation notice appropriately). I even called them, which was also met with no response.
I also contacted them after getting banned, with 30+ links of possible copyrighted items, which was met with a response completely ignoring all the links, saying i was justifiably banned even though that had nothing to do with what i sent?
Taking all this into consideration, how can one consider this ban justified? And why should a person be punished this way, without receiving proper communcation on roblox’s end that any issue was nearing?
Considering a loss of 5000+ euros is involved in this, i feel like i definitely deserve a proper way of communcation + response. My first appeal already explained everything deeply, considering it was denied it is apparent it was a robot that looked over my appeal. Severe issues like this should not be looked upon by robots!
I’d love to hear some people’s opinions about this, i know i shouldn’t post this here really, but what options do i have left other than going public with this? Roblox has made it so hard to contact them about these severe issues that all i can do now is hope this will gain attention.
