Hey there,

I am following up on a previous post in which engineers marked the issue fixed. This issue was in-fact not resolved properly.

This is the previous post for a background into the situation.

As I stated in the previous post about this issue you can cause even more lag if you set the meta order to all the same layer (from what I tested)

Just FYI, this is a different issue under the hood than that other post brought up, although of course the effect is essentially the same. We are aware of this and working on a mitigation.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but we’re making progress on this issue. We rolled out a change this week that should reduce the lag caused by layered clothing, with more improvements incoming in the following weeks. Keep us posted on how it’s working for you!
