What is ZD?
“Shaakra’s Zombie Defence” was a zombie game ahead of its time.
It has combined Tycoon gameplay with classic zombie-shooting.
You are able to build your own base and purchase guns to help you eliminate incoming threat.
The zombies in this game are able to infect you on touch, so keep your distance!
Once per 180-240 seconds, a zombie rush happens - making a newly spawned horde of zombies faster!
The place’s version was V19.7.
How was the fix made?
Shaakra at some point made their place uncopylocked, but later it was locked. I suspect it was done, because new versions of ZD came out.
I sadly didn’t had a place file, but thanks to free models (You hear me right!) I was able to stitch the original game together.
I managed to recover old sounds and meshes from Base64 leftovers in the model files.
Once it was done, I have remade everything from scratch.
Gamepasses
VIP can be bought for a price of 50 Robux.
If you own any of the original VIP Shirts [1] [2], you don’t need a gamepass to see the effects!
VIPs get 15-30 Cash on a zombie kill.
God Staff can be bought for a price of 750 Robux.
God Staff was a “cheat” weapon from the original game, which only Shaakra could use. You will be able to use it as well! More details about it is in “Weapons” and “Chat commands”.

Example: There’s 15 alive zombies on the map and a zombie rush happens, while there’s 1 player. There’s now 25 zombies, but no more zombies will spawn until it goes back to 15.

Hardcore Mode details
- Zombies are faster and can jump when you’re above them.
- Zombie heads can infect on touch. No more jumping on heads…
- Spree doesn’t give you a speed bonus.
- Gun damage and knockback only on headshots.
Differences
- To accommodate to Roblox’s Terms of Service I have altered the zombie designs. They have a cartoon green blood and also wear clothes similar to their earlier version.
- I have reworked the whole visual zombie infection for players. No more blocky sleeveless arms!
- Chat will display system messages for few circumstances (losing money to infection, zombie rush).
- Donate tool was replaced with a chat command for easier access.
- I have removed “reload” cooldown from weapons, because it was confusing.
- Shotgun’s range was buffed from [10 / 20] to [25 / 45], so it actually hits something.
- Turret’s damage was nerfed from [100] to [50]. Come on, it mowed zombies like grass.
- Landmines and turret make a sound now (they use sounds uploaded by Clockwork).
