Shadows Quality?

Anyone know what’s going on with roblox’s shadows?

I wan’t my shadows to be sharp and smooth like they use to be.

I’m not sure how long ago it started but I noticed the shadows quality is really low and have tried everything.

I’ve tried turning down shadow softness, turned off clouds, made sure the lighting was set to Future, all my graphics are on highest, and changed Graphics Mode. still not resolved. I’ve looked around on the Dev Forum couldn’t find any topics about this issue.

I figured it was a side effect of a update so I just waited for it to be fixed and noticed its still here, I take long breaks every couple of weeks so I can’t pin point when it started. hopefully I’m not the only one

You need to turn up (not down) the shadow softness
An image of ShadowSoftness set to 0:

and an image of ShadowSoftness set to 0.2:

This is only a work around that doesn’t yield favorable result, especially when attempting to get sharper shadows which is the goal

I’m pretty sure shadows always worked that way, so there is no other solution. my shadows never ever looked sharp on roblox
