Who I am
My name is Shelby, a clothing designer on Roblox since 2013. I first started designing because I wanted to be just like Shaddic; she is unique, talented, and fearless when it comes to designing. Her work ranged from grungy tee’s to some of the most detailed articles of clothing I’ve seen on Roblox (even to this day). As I found different communities on Roblox and became a part of many war groups, I fell in love with blobmista4’s style of designing. I had heard of him from multiple group owners and found that his work seemed so simple, but so detailed, so, me being curious I had to give his style a try… and of course I became addicted to it. 5 years later and here I am, using that exact style for all of my designs.
What I do
I design both male and female clothing on Roblox; from uniforms to casual attire, I challenge myself to do it all. I’ve designed Game of Thrones related outfits, school uniforms, character outfits, Sci-Fi… too many to think of off the top of my head. The trick for me is to become a part of whatever I’m designing. For example, when I did work for Bakers ‘Game of Thrones’ group, I binge-watched Game of Thrones while creating each article of clothing. I want to understand each piece as best I can, and that includes doing hours of research on whatever I’m being commissioned for.
Where you can see my work
You can find some of my work on Twitter, DeviantArt (updated as of 3/28/2019), or just add me on Discord (sheric#7060).
When I’m for hire
To check my availability, you can DM me on DevForums, Twitter, add me on Discord, or message me on Roblox! I will try my best to respond the same day you message me. Not only that, I do my best to keep my bios updated with my commission status!
Why hire me?
I’m honest, very down-to-earth, and overall a hardworking person. I have lots of experience, but I’m not afraid to admit I’m still learning every single day, and I love it. Designing is hard, frustrating, sometimes even draining – but I know my limits, and I will always communicate with you on them. That’s my promise to you.
Want to hire me?
DM me on DevForums, Twitter, or Discord. Preferably on here because my Twitter messages are a bit messy at times.
What I ask of you:
- Be clear on what you want.
- Include reference images (if possible)
- Understand that I may have other commissions to do before yours (be patient, please).
- I, along with my fellow designers, work very hard on each article of clothing. You may critique how I’ve done something, but please do not blatantly insult my work. It’s disrespectful.
