Shoes stretching/clipping triangles in center

Have you wondered why many shoes have this issue where they create these little spiky parts in between each one?

Here are some examples.

Neither shoe can cross the very center of the body. If either shoe’s mesh goes past the middle line of the cage, it will cause this issue.

Here the shoe goes past the middle.

Here is the shoe, ever so slightly past the very middle.

Even though here the left shoe is not clipping into the right leg’s inner OR outer cage, the fact alone that it crosses into that side of the body will result in weird triangles stretching between shoes.
