this weird problem accrued when I was making heels and I noticed that for some reason my heels were “melting” on the point part of the heel, maybe because of the heel being out and inside of the inner cage at the same time that makes it melt?
No, you didn’t read the full article, basically when I put the heels on a character its point just deforms lemme give you and examaple
before its putted on:
Apperently this is being caused by the location of the whole project In blender being different from characters location in blender, and when u like change the character scale, it deforms the shoes / heels for some reason?
Thanks for the files. We took a look at them. We think what’s causing the issue is exactly what you pointed out, which is, the shoe is inside of the inner cage for the most part, while the tip of it sticks outside of the inner cage. We suggest sculpting the inner cage of the foot to be much closer to the foot, build the shoe to go completely outside of the inner cage, and then make the outer cage completely outside of the shoe.
There are also a few things you should look into fixing. These may or may not affect the shoe, but will definitely affect other things in the longer run.
On the lower leg cages of the body, there’s a cut and a gap about 2/3 of the way down. You should sow that back together.
There’s a missing face on the right waist area of the upper torso.
Use the same joint positions for the body and the shoe.
The head cage needs to be sculpted to be much closer to the head.
It’s always great practice to build and rig everything at world origin.
Redoing the innercage on the foot, would be a hard decision to make, because I’ve already made atleast 21 heels with multiple recolours, so redoing them wouldn’t be choice, or making a new bundle that doesn’t fit my old heels wouldn’t be good. But thank you for the advices, I really appreciate it
