So, I won’t put a studio in my group name, but I am just wondering: is adding an apostrophe grammatically incorrect? (I see many groups do this). Since when applying grammar laws, that seems to be incorrect.
Adding the apostrophe here is called greengrocers’ apostrophe
It is incorrect, do not add it.
Bricky Studios would be the correct grammar.
Studio’s would either stand for ‘studio is’ or studio’s as in Bricky belongs to somebody named Studio. (Hopefully that makes sense; it’s not every day questions about grammar are asked on the forum.)
Oh okay, thank you so much!! Since when translated It will be: Bricky Studio is.
Thanks for letting me know. Since so many groups do it, it is breaking my brain lol.
That would be Studio’s Bricky, not Bricky Studio’s.
Assuming’s someone’s name’s i’s unethical’s. First ask the group owner if his irl name is Bricky Studio.
In all seriousness, it depends on style and is usually grammatically incorrect. I wouldn’t do it since it doesn’t seem to “flow.”
Why am I replying to this post
I think you should stick with “Bricky Studios” without the apostrophe
I know. But, It’s just an example I came up with. Bricky studios is an awful group name ngl.
I think naming your Roblox group with Studios in it is overdone. You could do Bricky Entertainment, Bricky Corp, or honestly just Bricky Development.
