Should I continue working on my game?

I’ve had a game called “Puzzled” that’s been semi-public for about a week now, but I’m wondering if I should keep developing it. Check the game out and give me some feedback.

Should I keep working on Puzzled?

If “Yes” gets at least 60% of the votes, then I’ll keep working on the game. (I tried looking on Talent for builders but didn’t get any applications)

the concept is cool, it’s just not clear what you’re supposed to do.

Pls keep working on it. It’s one of the most original puzzles on Roblox I have played.

Quite interesting, I have to say. Have a few things about your game though:

  1. For professionalism, I suggest building your custom chat GUIs with NPCs instead of using Roblox’s Dialogs. Would also suggest removing their display names to make it more cleaner.
  2. The game’s objectives are not clear. You can try to place a tutorial, a cutscene or anything that will introduce the Player to what’s happening in the game.
  3. For some reasons, spawning will trigger the brick into chatting with the Player.
  4. Would suggest making a tween animation for your Donation GUI.
  5. If you would like to fully utilize the Team service to your advantage, try to team Players to the stages they’re currently at, instead of letting them keep climbing a ladder from the Spawn to get to their desired stage.
  6. You will need to increase the reflectance of the glass. If you can’t see that there’s glass right in front of me, then there’s a problem for new Players.
  7. Instead of using the Baseplate, do try to build the map around the obstacle course. This will give the game more ambience and the atmosphere it needs.

Agree on this, you might want to try and create a tutorial stage, with the game guiding the Player throughout it.
9. Make sure to add some badges for the Player, as they can help engage them to complete the game!
10. You can try using some emojis in your game’s title and description to make it more eye-catching to Players. However, refrain from using more than 2 emojis in your title, to not make it too messy.

There’s still room for improvement, so I suggest constantly adding features and debugging them. Feel free to keep asking for feedback when you feel that the game’s at a much more developed stage.

  1. The talking block of lava is just a gag, and it’s not meant to affect the overall game.
  2. The Day counter was super hard to get right. It would either reset upon death or not go up at all. I still don’t even know if it 100% works.
  3. I’m going to look at how to trigger badges, thanks for telling me.
  4. “TeamNameHere” is also a gag

But with the game having a ~91% approval rating from you guys, I call that success. Puzzled will continue to be developed!
