Should i even finish this game?

I have been making this simulator style game for about 1 month, but I don’t know if I should even finish it. will people even play it? or should i do something else?

I mean, the game did make 150 Robux without any advertisements. does that mean the overall idea is good?

Also, DO NOT CALL IT “SIMULATOR SLOP” THAT DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY FEEDBACK AT ALL!

Here is the game (remember, its unfinished!) Coin Quest 2

Hello,

So I thoroughly played your game, and despite it being unfinished, it was a pretty solid and seemingly unique game.

To address your questions;

Is the game idea good? Yes, although I think renaming it from coin quest to something else would be a good idea. I was heavily expecting an RPG of some sort. Looting simulator or something along the lines of that.

Is this simulator slop? Also yes, if you want older audiences and players that originate from PC, I recommend tuning down the common simulator antics. What I’m referring to are tactics such as hiding playtime rewards until claimed.

Will it make money? Yes, but it won’t make a profit from how much you put ads into it. It’s just another simulator, little to no players will have an incentive to return to your game, even with crazy daily rewards. If you could get players in naturally, it’ll be a win on your part.

Things I like:
Custom animations for NPCs
F2P ultra coin trading
map structure

Things I dislike:
Lack of roblox API usage via proxy (follow ___ for rewards, live like counter + functionality, etc)
playtime reward system (as mentioned above)
lack of mobility (simply add a shift to run, and turn up normal walkspeed)

I wish you the best in your development.

I mean, it’s buggy and very copy paste feeling of other sims right now. If the gameplay right now is the idea going forwards then I don’t think it’s going anywhere, I think the gameplay needs something added to it because it’s basically just pick up coins and avoid ever facing the enemies, then hoping the coins dont spawn underground
