Being a GFXer for a while, and working with a bit of City-RP groups and something similar to that aspect, I get commonly asked to make logos or re-designs of an image, however I had to decline because it wasn’t really in my interest, but more recently I get asked for logos.
So, last night I attempted to whip up two “example” logos after looking at a few other individuals work, and the one I was inspired from the most was @Eeveonic who makes some really great logos for the price he offers.
So, I whipped up these two pieces and would like to hear feedback for it.
Looks really nice, the fonts and text are spot on, I think now you just need to work on the background, and it also lacks story, maybe like some sort of texture/props on the icon or cerrtain letters, honestly depends on what type of project/game you’re making it for.
Even from myself, I say these are very great! If you get more practice, you can be a great logo designer, I love how you chose the colors on each logo, and the font is great for creating logos! Maybe add some gradient or objects onto the logo, Try warmer or colder colors as well, “Blue and Purple” are cold colors, and warmer colors are like “red, yellow, and orange” Keep up the good work!
I definitely like these logos! @Eeveonic was also a big inspiration for me to start creating logos, and I can’t thank him enough. Start making more logos and keep practicing! You really should get into logo design. Try adding more to your logos and experimenting with colors, hue, saturation, brightness, etc. Add objects to make your drawing stand out. I also recommend getting fonts like “Grobold” or “Luckiest Guy” but any font will work.
The art is looking fantastic! Though you should definitely add a concept like an icon or a mini picture to really represent what you are trying to show.
Those actually look really nice! I really like how you are experimenting with really expressive fonts/shapes! I would highly recommend from experinence that you try and experiment with things such as colour combinations, typography, and background textures!
Maybe try experimenting with warp-distortion effects, and add graphics inside/next to the logos to express it more! Gradients and masked adjustment layers are also a huge help with logo designing, you can try and experiment with those as well!
A really good example of another successful graphics designer is @PumpkinWhite! You should check out some the logos that he has created, and some of the devforum posts he has made. His posts are very insightful, and they really helped me to understand the detailed concepts behind desinging professional graphics/logos!
I think you should give it a shot, your work looks great, the examples are really nice and could really takeoff. It’s always nice to expand your skills so there’s no reason not to!
