I’ve gotten a few requests for commissions and I haven’t properly made a portfolio yet
some examples of my art. My only problem with this is that I don’t like showing outdated work (usually 2 months old) because I think it doesn’t represent my skill level. Should I still do it?

Sadly, since #collaboration is closed, you can’t make a portfolio here. But I’d make one somewhere else if I was you. 
You definitely should! You can find quite a few clients/groups off of dev forum with your skill level.
Your art looks wonderful, I like the aesthetic of your art you’ve presented here.
I think you should create a portfolio. You can’t create a portfolio here tho bc of #collaboration being shut down.
You can post your portfolio on the Roblox Talent Hub or maybe even DeviantArt or Twitter if you want, as those websites are also great for this specifically because you do art
