I am just wondering if it’s better to have a map built on blender with all the textures baked, or have the map built in Roblox, but less good looking. It shouldn’t matter as long as the poly count is low right?

Hello, DontBe3Greedy well I think you should do it on both so you can get some skills on both and know how to use them both. I believe that it does not matter at all what you use what you think is good to you.
Really depends on the type of map you’re looking to build, and the purpose it will serve. What is this for exactly, and what is the map of?
Its multiple types of maps, but they are very small, around like 1/2 a basplate max. And there can only be 4 players per map, thus i’m not very worried about lag, since the player count is low and the map size is also low.
If you think your map would look better in Blender than using ROBLOX Studio tools, you should give Blender the shot. You should always try making your builds the best you can achieve them to be. In some circumstances though, Blender is more useful and sometimes Studio tools can be a better option. Really depends on your build. Are you making a Low-Poly map…? Also, can you elaborate on what this 4 player map is for?
I would say both, for me i always go with both. also use blender instead of making unions in studio because of the corrupt glitch.
If you were to build a low poly map, then yeah, go for blender.
