I’m currently developing a game called PLS BOOK, a donation game where players can unleash their creativity by designing their own books. The process includes creating a front cover, filling in pages, and designing a back cover. Once completed, players can sell their books for Robux.
Additionally, the game allows players to:
-
Resell Books: If you buy a book, you can resell it to other players.
-
Earn Tokens: Use tokens to buy booths and customize your space.
-
Participate in Competitions: Join fun competitions to showcase your creativity and win rewards!
I’d love to hear your suggestions on whether I should move forward with this project. Are there any key details or features I should consider to improve the experience for players?
Is there anything I should be aware of except moderation since this is my first time making a donation game?
(IF THIS IS IN WRONG CATERGORY PLEASE LET ME KNOW)
It’s the right category. So this idea is pretty cool but why would someone by a online book for real money, if you can just by one at a store 100 times better. I think making books and selling it for in game tokens sounds like a game I would play not robux. You can charge robux to get a different bookshelf ETC.
Overall cool idea
Well, it depends how much the player sets the cost of their book for but its actually cheaper then book stores and book stores sell their books for like 1 dollar or higher.
1 Robux = 0.8 Cents (NOT ACCURATE and just did research so may change overtime)
Thank you for your suggestion.
To be honest, if this game does come out successful, not many people would play it and the “Author” of a book could potentially just put garbage in there.
Most users on Roblox are children (illiterate), secondly most people do not like to read a book, or read a book in your game because of trolls or poorly structured books.
Making an actual “Book” takes a lot of dedication, and skill which most people do not have. Ultimately this idea is obsolete (Not worth)
Though the Lifeline to your Project is the Competitions where people would actually need to focus on what they output.
Here are some results I’ve made to my Hypothesis.
Predicted Playtime : 10 mins
Average Visits Weekly : 100- (Will gradually decrease, unless events)
Like/Dislike Ratio : 1.2 (120 : 80 - estimated…)
Well, it is quite similar to Starving Artists which tends to have an average of 300-500 CPU and a moderation system would be put into place to stop inappropriate images but I cant do anything about the poorly structured books because it doesn’t violate any TOS also most people on Roblox are quite creative as I seen a lot of people in some drawing/making games.
Thank you for your feedback.
I don’t think players on robloc could ever! Match real books I think in game tokens would work
But again the idea is awesome but for a long term game it might not work. Making events might might boost it up like if you play on a certain day with tokens you can buy something,I’m not sure exactly but it is possible to make it work.
