Should I Put Objects In Folders Or Models?

I’ve been attempting to do some huge builds with a lot of parts, but when I have a lot of parts, it becomes unorganized and it annoys me somehow.

I need to put it in something to make it more compact, but when I put it in a folder, I click on the part, and the folder automatically collapsed, making the entire explorer filled with a lot of stuff instead of compact.
However, if I put it in a model, when the time comes to edit somthing in the model, I have to click through all the parts until I find the part I’m looking for.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should use to sort my stuff? Or is there any alternitive?

Thank you! :smiley_cat:

I recommend folders, and if you dont need to edit, lock all, and if u need to edit only unlock all to edit, in models you cant do that

Well, sometimes I do need to edit, but I want to be able to click on a part without the folder collapsing. Is there anyway to lock the folder?

Is only lock all inside and click on folder to pick all same time

I recommend putting these scripts or parts into a folder. Models may not help or may cause more clutter and confusion, while folders will organize your stuff.
