Should I release this round based game?

Im currently developing a round based game. The game is inspired by anarchy and the movie “The Purge” it will be a round based Pvp game with a horror aspect to it, players will break into stores, steal and kill to win. I fear that releasing such a game with no sponsoring budget will flop as I don’t expect to get many players.

My theory to workaround this is to make AI players however I’m not sure how much of a good idea that is…

Don’t hesitate to give advice!

The only thing you’re really sharing is that it’s round based and requires 5 players to be fun. There’s not really much room for advice to give regarding that.

AI Players might work but there’s not enough detail about the game to see if it’s a viable option for you.

Please give more details so people can give you in depth feedback and advice.

You don’t need budget to advertise. Make a cool video on YouTube, a TikTok, contact content creators to play your game, make it appear first on search results, incentivize inviting friends. Help people so they can help you. Ask them to play the game, make rewards for liking, clicking the favorite button, and for playing long. Make a tutorial for users who it’s the first time playing. First impressions matter.

Dont make AI players, it’s not fun when you find out you’re competing with a computer.

I’m aware of all these things and they are harder than they seem. I don’t plan on adding a tutorial for my game.

No I don’t actually mean ai players I mean ai npcs trying to kill you just like a normal player would.
