Should I use ModuleScripts for Datastores?

I’ve seen quite a few people say that using ModuleScripts when working with DataStores is the best way to go, but they never go into too much detail about it i.e. when it’s useful and how it’s useful. Do I just require a value from a table inside of a module script and load/save it in a single DataStore from a serverscript? What’s the best way to go about this and is it really the most efficient way of handling Datastores? This is my first DevForum post, please let me know if I’ve done anything wrong, thanks!

I would say that it’s just personal preference and I would say don’t do something just because other people tell you to

The best thing to do is experiment and pick the method that you like the best

Here is a datastore video I made that does not use modulescripts but I will have videos in the future showing how to do datastore with modulescripts there is no right answer here it’s like asking how much sugar do you want in your tea
