Should I watermark commission GFX?

,

Ok so today I thought about starting to watermark my art but I don’t know if I should also watermark commision art (After they pay). I’m not here talking about some big watermark that will cover the whole art I’m just thinking about something small, low opacity to put in the corner of the art. Should I do it?

Here’s a picture of what I’m thinking of (ignore the black watermark):

I tried to search if someone asked the same question but I couldn’t find anything.
Sorry if I made this topic incorrectly.

If you’re showing it to someone before they pay, yes.

Sorry I didn’t put this in but I mean after they pay. Of course before they pay there’s a big watermark but when they start using it there would be this little watermark of my name something like a little ad.

Yes, even the most renowned GFX people leave a small watermark next to it.

If you visit most games on platform or artist you will see a little transparent text that will be either at the bottom left corner or the top corner of the design saying “Made by John”. Consider to add your signature so it will resemble what artist produced this artwork for a game or if it’s being used for a upcoming project;

When adding your watermark do decrease the size to make it more appealing and comfortable in a certain area I encourage you to fade it a bit so it wont be in the way to notice it you could add a little transparency to it. Here is a sort of example of what I’m referring to.

Depends if the client is okay with it sometimes they can get annoyed and just edit it out lol if its to obnoxious and looks unappealing
