Should Phone/Tablet/XBOX users get Aim-Asssit

As some of you know, I’m working at an FFA and I just ported XBOX/Tablet/Phone support to it. When testing, I figured out that aiming is way too hard on these platforms. The question is, should they receive Aim-Assist(If the mouse is cloose to an enemy, put the mouse on the enemy)?

If the aiming is harder on those platforms, then yes, otherwise no

I’d say no, they shouldn’t because I know like my first 6 months of playing Roblox, I enjoyed playing some games on a tablet more than PC because you get a relaxing feel and groove inside of it, not sure if anyone can relate.

As long as there’s a balance of controls like sprint not just only being on PC and reasonable screen positions, I think that should do it.

Check out Arsenal for example, they have a good mobile balance to move around and such.

First of all @Pearielqs, have you even played Arsenal on mobile? Aiming while clicking a fire button does not work out. It doesn’t matter how I move it, it doesn’t feel good at all.

Now, some people assume “aim assist” is cheating, it is basically the exact same thing as aiming. You have to be “locked on” a target in order for it to actually fire, just like on PC, where when you are aiming at somebody, you would probably shoot.

My personal opinion, but you do you!

Aim assist and aiming is very different, aim assist can lock the players movements automatically but aiming is lining up directly at the player manually.

I never tried to play Arsenal on phone but I have tied it on an iPad before and if you have a correct lineup, it tends to get easier with one finger on top shifting directions and one finger ready to fire.

The real question is how do you make sure PC Users don’t exploit and enable AimAssist. There isn’t a way to detect Mobile players without trusting the client.

I ported Everything(Including GUI size, different scripts for some GUIs, GUI positions, And ported even Sprint, etc).

To be more exact, the aim should be like the one in Free Fire(An mobile game).

I don’t think any Computer user wants to play with no keyboard and mouse…

I decided to add it to all players(Including computer).

Aiming on Mobile is so hard , I think they should have this feature.

Personally, I’d say yes as long as it’s only slight (for example, if the crosshair is within 5° of the target or something like that
