Should you upload all game assets yourself

If I hire someone to make me for example particle effects, they obviously use textures they uploaded themselves (atleast hopefully). Would it be best practice to then reupload those textures yourself, or should you ask for the individual textures? I have used free assets before and haven’t had problems, but what do you think?

Experiences have an asset manager. Its best practice to bulk import your assets here. It also serve’s as a nice thing to organize your assets since it puts all the sources into one place. I think it will be best to reupload them yourself in the case that they archive that asset in the future for some reason.
