I only got 2 friend requests, but I have to visit a whole other page to do anything with either of them – making the element for a single notification obsolete in cases of getting more than one friend request.
look at all the whitespace, I wonder what should be done with it? 
I think the threshold should be increased to at least 3, but preferably 4 or 5. Maybe even have it customizable so people getting hundreds of requests a day can choose to just always cap out at 1 or something.
