Showcase Feedback

Hi all

I have recently finished my 13th showcase called Bradbury Building and was wondering if I can get some feedback on the build

Looks great, but:

  • on the fifth photo I can see that the railing has different height, not sure if it was supposed to be like that
  • I think that your roof is made of glass. Why is there no sun rays/deep shadows inside?
  • Look kind of dull, try adding more details (crack some walls, get more assets)
I hope that you’ll add or fix everything that I’ve listed. Anyways, good job on the showcase. Looks beautiful, it sure does.

whoops, hit the wrong reply button)

Looks amazing!
The only thing I can think of is maybe letting players enter the rooms? It feels a little empty without being able to enter anything

I absolutely love this, great job.

If anything, I would suggest adding some chandeliers, to add more depth to the scenery, and to add more light.

That’s my only suggestion though, everything else is fantastic, bravo!!. :confetti_ball:

Just fixed the rails ty lol

Rhe roof is made of glass with texture added on top the rays are there just not in the photos

From the reference images its quite actuate to the real life building its based on there are no chandeliers so i might just leave it as it is

This looks lovely. Your building has a lovely late-Victorian (Industrial) feel to it. I can see that you have put an enormous amount of work into the build. Well done to you - your construction is lovely!

Edit (added afterwards) I couldn’t resist a look around. I am so glad that I did. Your build is even better then the above beautiful images suggest. Your choice of a musical background (with public chatter) was lovely too. I see that you have constructed two lift-shafts. I do hope that you continue this project with a working lift (elevator) … if you can. That be would beautiful, to see (and hear) an old Victorian lift amble up and down, with a mass of turning machinery and workings!

Top marks on an outstanding build.

That looks like an amazing showcase, I can’t wait for the final project! However, I do have some suggestions to help improve the scene, don’t feel the need to change it if you don’t find it necessary.

Suggestions:

  1. Adding detail: You already have the whole layout, you just need to include objects that relate to your showcase. These could be seats, tables, plants, picture frames, etc.

  2. Lighting: You should try making it a little bit brighter and modern, it looks really dark, but again that depends what you are going for. Experiment and see what is best for the project in multiple ways.

Ending note: This now concludes my opinion, good luck!
