Showing Alt key shortcuts takes a long time, slows down the system, and blocks Studio

Pressing the Alt key shows the keys to access menus. Showing those key hints takes a long time and uses a considerable amount of CPU for such a seemingly simple task. My mouse is slowed down/choppy while the menu is appearing. Studio does not respond to other input while the hints are appearing. This is not a new issue, it has existed for months. The gfy would be a bit more obvious, but Studio slows down the Task Manager so it doesn’t update fast enough to show what’s happening.

Repro:
Open a studio window. It doesn’t need a place open.
Press Alt. The hints will take a long time to open. The mouse will have choppy movement. Task Manager or other management tools will display high CPU usage for RobloxStudio.

Confirmed. IMO I’d rather not have those hints pop up at all so I could use alt as a Studio shortcut, and so I could test my game which uses alt as a shortcut in Play Solo. It only happens when you press alt twice, but I sometimes need to press alt twice.
