Welcome to Shuko! - A brand new innovative Hibachi Restaurant. Shuko is a new and upcoming Hibachi restaurant. We desire to delight our customers with the most magnificent Hibachi, customer service, and countless more things to come. Shuko was founded on September 11th, 2021 but later re-established on November 3rd, 2024.

This handbook was designed to provide the community with convenient access to important information. We encourage you to go through its contents thoroughly before contacting a staff member with any inquiries. If any sections seem unclear or need additional detail, feel free to let us know, and we’ll update it as needed.

Rank Descriptions

Customer

Customers are the lowest rank at Shuko. They are free to join our restaurant and get served, and socailize with our community. They are eligible to become staff members by taking our Application.

Honored Customer

Honored Customers are customers who have significantly contributed to Shuko. This rank is usually given to former executive members. You cannot apply or be promoted to this rank.

Business Partner

Business Partners are representatives from Shuko’s affiliates. They do not have any extended powers than a customer and they are not Shuko staff members.

Industry Icon

The Industry Icon role is a role to signify someone who has impacted Shuko or they are a recognized user in the roleplay industry. This rank is usually given to former leadership members. You cannot apply or be promoted to this rank.


Server

Servers are the first rank of our Low Ranking Team. They are able to serve customers at our restaurant and are able to attend another training session to progress to Hibachi Chef.

Hibachi Chef

Hibachi Chefs are the second rank of our Low Ranking Team. They are able to serve customers behind the grill at our restaurant and are able to attend another training session to progress to Executive Chef.

Executive Chef

Executive Chefs are the third rank of our Low Ranking Team. They are now eligible for a promotion from a General Manager to Kitchen Leader if they meet all of the requirements. More information on how to be promoted to Kitchen Leader can be found in the KL Promotion Guide section of the handbook.

Kitchen Leader

Kitchen Leaders are the last rank of our Low Ranking Team. These individuals have been promoted due to their constant activity and dedication to Shuko. More information on how to be promoted to Kitchen Leader can be found in the KL Promotion Guide section of the handbook.


Hibachi Assistant

Hibachi Assistants serve as the entry point into our Management Team. Their duties include supervising restaurant operations and assisting with training sessions. For details on advancing to this role, refer to the HA Promotion Guide in the handbook.

Supervisor

Supervisors take on a more advanced role within the Management Team, building on the responsibilities of a Hibachi Assistant. In addition to supervising and assisting, they gain the privilege of hosting sessions.

Assistant Manager

As a key step in management progression, Assistant Managers expand on the responsibilities of Supervisors while enjoying additional benefits and opportunities.

General Manager

General Managers hold the final position within the Management Team. Beyond their Assistant Manager duties, they have the authority to promote Executive Chefs to Kitchen Leaders, reflecting their critical role in shaping the team’s success.


Executive Assistant

Executive Assistants have demonstrated exceptional dedication as General Managers and have earned a promotion from the Leadership Team. Their responsibilities include managing departmental tasks.

Chief Operating Officer

Chief Operating Officers have demonstrated exceptional dedication as Executive Assistants within their respective department and have earned a promotion from the Leadership Team. Their responsibilities include managing Executive Assistant’s and departmental tasks, along with additional privileges.

Chief Administrative Officer

Chief Administrative Officers are experienced professionals who have excelled as Chief Operating Officers within their respective department and were promoted by the Leadership Team. Their responsibilities include managing Chief Operating Officers, departmental tasks, along with additional responsibilites.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors consists of individuals who have proven themselves capable of leading their own departments. Their primary responsibilities include directing their assigned department and ensuring seamless operations.


Vice President

Vice Presidents are key members of the Leadership Team who take charge of overseeing their designated departments. These individuals have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, dedication, and a deep understanding of the organization’s goals and values. Their ability to make informed decisions, guide their teams effectively, and contribute to strategic planning sets them apart as reliable leaders. By earning their place on the Leadership Team, Vice Presidents exemplify the qualities necessary to drive departmental success and support the broader mission of the organization.

President

The President oversees multiple departments, providing strategic guidance to ensure the organization runs smoothly. They work closely with Vice Presidents to implement policies and initiatives, fostering cohesion and efficiency. Reporting directly to the Co-Owner, the President plays a vital role in driving the organization’s success.

Co Owner

The Co-Owner holds a pivotal role in ensuring the group’s overall operations run seamlessly and efficiently. They are responsible for overseeing strategic development, guiding the organization toward growth, and maintaining high standards across all departments. By providing clear direction and strong leadership, the Co-Owner ensures that Shuko thrives in its mission and objectives. This rank is not attainable through application or promotion.

Owner

The Owner serves as the head and ultimate authority of the group, overseeing all aspects of its operations to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. They are responsible for setting the organization’s vision, goals, and strategic direction while providing guidance to the leadership team. By maintaining oversight of all departments, the Owner ensures that the group remains cohesive, focused, and aligned with its mission. Their leadership is essential to the overall success and growth of the organization.


Affiliate Information

:handshake: Affiliate Requirements → In order to be eligible for a partnership with Shuko your group must qualify for the following requirements:

  • Must have at least 500 Roblox group members and 200 Discord server members
  • Must not sell ranks with administrative commands
  • Must be a professional group such as cafes, restaurants, homestores, etc
  • Must have a good reputation and maintain activity
    Excusals are available upon request but they are not guaranteed.

Affiliate Application
Our affiliate application/questions are not publicly available, if you wish to form a partnership with Shuko please DM any HR with the “Relations Department” role in our communications sever.

KL & HA Promotion Guide

:cook: Promotion Requirements → Executive Chef to Kitchen Leader

Eligibility Criteria:
• Minimum Tenure as EC: You must have served as an Executive Chef (EC) for at least 5 days.
• Have safechat disabled, and be 13+ to be able to join our communications server.

Daily Activity Requirements:
• Dedicate a minimum of 30 minutes per shift each day to stay active and engaged.
• Maintain consistent activity; it’s fine to take a day or two off, but avoid extended breaks.

Skill Proficiency:
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of the serving guide by showcasing efficiency and task knowledge during shifts.

Professionalism and Leadership:
• Exhibit professional behavior in all interactions.
• Display leadership qualities such as initiative, decision-making, and effective communication to support teammates.

Eligibility Criteria:
• Minimum Tenure as KL: You must have served as a Kitchen Leader (KL) for at least 7 days.
• Have safechat disabled, and be 13+ to be able to join our communications server.

Consistent Performance:
• Maintain high performance standards across all tasks and responsibilities.
• Master the serving guide and overall operations.
• Dedicate a minimum of 30 minutes per shift each day.

Leadership Excellence:
• Lead by example: support your team and confidently address any questions or issues.
• Take proactive steps to resolve problems and foster team cohesion.

Professional Growth:
• Show consistent improvement and a willingness to learn.
• Bring innovative ideas to improve workflows or enhance overall processes.
