I created a simple coin flipping game for my AP computer-science class.
Since it was made in an educational environment I decided it would be cool to give it out to people and open source it so people can also learn from it.
There is a tad bit of documentation in it, but not extensive… not sure what anyone would want to change anyways… Also, it is all client sided.
The extreme urge to throw huge amounts of money are real. Just kidding, I do like playing games of chance, even with no real reward it’s like simulating chance as you say and it can be interesting to see it unfold. I wish you would do a game of 21 because that can be nail bitingly exciting either way it’s very nicely designed.
This looks very great! While i find no real use for a coin flipping feature to be used in any of my games, it’d be real fun to look in the code, i’ve learned alot from sources on devfourms, but this takes the cake for being the most interesting one i’ve read in a while.
Amazing! I was working on something for our computer science class that was made in Roblox too (We were allowed to use anything we wanted, so I chose Roblox) and then randomly our school blocked the Roblox domain, lol
Kinda assuming your final project might be something quickly made in “Snap!”, if they won’t accept it lol, either way good luck if you do have to restart! It looks amazing!
Also would be cool if Roblox worked with the CollegeBoard, might improve the education views on Roblox, just a thought.
Yeah, sorry if I’m getting a bit nerdy here on the gambling topic. Your brain releases a chemical called endorphins and it’s a chemical which makes you thrilled for gambling (it’s also the same chemical that get’s released when you take drugs) and that’s why people get addicted they think that they will win a jackpot when really it’s the only top 1%. That’s how people get addicted, and that is why gambling companies make loads of money. (I believe gambling is against the ToS anyway).
