Sponsors are just as useless as ads nowadays, they don’t do jack. Spent over 80k+ on Sponsors and barely anyone played my game. It’s just a cope.

Im curious about this update -
With this, publishers can now add interactable billboards into their games that can advertise third party sites, so with this in mind:
- Reading over the restrictions, i notice that finincial services, one of which is “digital wallets”. Could this still mean that a link could take the player to a paypal account and not necessarily to a transaction page?
Say the publisher has a donation board advertising in their game, and the link below takes the client to their paypal account - would this be considered prohibited?
- advertising to subscription services such as patron, would this be allowed? If we had a subscription service, for example, that allowed players to play a game’s update before it is released: this doesnt fall under any of the finincial prohobitions.

That being said, even not using a link, you could have a billboard
“Join our patron! r/[insert patron]”
However patron works

So if I have a portal that teleports the user to a game that my studio is affiliated with is that considered an ad and if so I would have to make it so only 13+ users can see them?

Question, would place teleporters be considered advertising say i have a “portal” were players can enter and go to another game i created?

Yes I know, the only problem is that in some countries (from what I’ve heard) ads aren’t allowed, but you should ask Roblox Support, if it’s true than for those countries they will not be able to see things only for 13+, and I think that a Method like :GetUnder13 or something like that would be more intuitive

Plus - Also useful for some admin commands (since it isn’t appropriate to disclose a potentially inaccurate information of some random player publicly) in some languages that isn’t fully supported by Roblox (Malay and Indonesian are one of the examples here), when you had to deal with someone and instead of just hoping your chat (all appropriate in the country’s language) is readable by them without too much tags, just execute the command and the estimation will be given to you 
so if the estimation says non-U13 then you can just chat with your native language (as if they spoke the same language as yours) in a normal way if they didn’t understand English.
PolicyService isn’t accurate for checking U-13 accounts though, since it’s designed for checking compliance of such contents in the first place.

This is an old post, however you must never assume information such as age based on PolicyService returns. In this case, the policy info is telling you if the user is allowed to see ads, not what their age bracket is.
There may be different regulations in different localities and PolicyService will adapt to these based on the contract provided and not any other factors.
