Simulator Icon feedback?

Hello devs! I’ve been working on a game for 3 days now, I made an icon which hopefully captures players attention. Any feedback/criticism (helpful) accepted! If you make a good suggestion I would update my icon and I’ll show you!

It looks pretty good, however what I would recommend you is to somehow change these white lines on the edges, they kinda don’t fit.
Also, do not add the “NEW” tag on your icon. If it’s something new, just edit the icon a bit. For example, recolor it or add something to the background. I don’t know why, but that “NEW” tag triggers me very much.

I have one suggestion, this icon seems too “put together” if I need to say anything.

Like the letters arent seperated? So im guessing you want the letters to space out more?

You should indeed add a few more coins around, rotated all in different perspectives, as if they are falling from the sky. I suggest removing the text / your game’s name, as it is most of the time displayed under or next to the icon of the game, therefore I see no reason for it, and I see your icon looking much cleaner without the text, you should fill in the blank space in the background, with either coin as mentioned before, or something else that fits your game.

The problem with the icon right now is, that even though you got the name of the game, I don’t see it being very descriptive about the game, most games on the front page have something related to the game, I understand your game is about coins, but I would add more of a gameplay style icon, such as these simulators below.

As you can see, these games are eye-catching, and easy to recognize as well as reassembling the game in their icon, as the Roblox player base is hugely child-based, you need your icon to be very attractive.

Still have some more improvements to do, but so much better already! Great job.

I suggest you finish your game first, then use some more assets from the game itself, I know it is very exciting to make your first game and make the page of it look pretty, and I have also fallen into this trap in my early days of designing all my icons and thumbnails before even having a proper game. I suggest you make a few more models in the game, then use those in your icon, which would look much more appealing and represent your game.

Alright. I usually like to prepare everything when I’m not on my laptop. Cause when I go to straight to development, I want everything ready such as badges, dev products, decals, and gamepasses icons. But, now I’m just working on the game so thanks for your advice!

This simulator icon looks good! Nice job on it!

This was indeed a very needed comment after 2 months

In my opinion, the black outline around the center coin is too thick and looks out of place compared to the vibrant yellow colours. Maybe try a version of the coin that represents more of the game’s characteristics?
