Sinister G. is not a PBR Accessory

Issue Description:

Currently, a new accessory is being promoted on the page where you can buy more Robux for your account: the “Sinister G.” It is a remastered version of an old accessory created years ago during the evolution of the Roblox platform. However, one thing that I noticed is that the design is supposed to be in PBR (Physically Based Render), but after getting redirected to the marketplace page, where you can preview the model, it is not in PBR.

When utilizing in-game where you can customize your Roblox avatar, you can notice that the texture is a 2D view of a PBR texture instead of using the Roblox SurfaceAppearence feature.

Expected Behavior

I expected this accessory to comply with the PBR standards. Otherwise, it would be misleading advertising, not meeting the expectations that the promotion provides to users.

Agreed, it’s definitely very misleading. It’s definitely metallic, but not as much as the preview on the buy page

It should also be pointed out that it isn’t properly fitted to the avatar’s head when previewing it in 3D unlike it’s predecessor Sinister S. Not sure if this also affects when you wear it on your avatar within an experience but it’s worth investigating.

The shininess of the accessory is dependent on the EnvironmentSpecularScale. The lower the value is, the less shiny it will be. If you’re in a game that has that value set to 0 the accessory probably won’t have a shiny appearance.
