SizzleBurger - New Game FAQ 2022

Q: Am I going to lose my group rank and all of my points when the game comes out? Do I need to redo training to learn the new cooking and cashier systems?

A: No. You will not lose your group rank or the progress you have made in the current game. However, the name of your rank may change. This is because we will be making it so employees can do any job within the game. You can read more on this in the 2nd question and read more on the rank name changes in the 5th question.

In regards to points, you will not lose all of your points that you have earned in the current game. We will have each rank start at the set amount of XP needed for the rank you are currently at.

We will not have employees who are already trained have to train again for this new game. However, I will do my best to release tutorials on my YouTube channel going over each job and how to do everything for those who are confused.

Q: Why are you making it so employees can do any job?

A: We are making it so employees can perform any job of their choosing because of multiple reasons. It allows people to move between jobs when they get bored, and it allows for each job to not be as empty as often. This is because in the current game there may be times where there are 10 cashiers and no chefs to make the food. That’s a problem! Allowing everyone to choose their job makes this not happen as often.

Letting people choose their job also allows us to add job limits, so people who are playing as a certain job can enjoy the game more. If there were 20 cashiers, or 20 chefs, or 20 janitors, it would take a long time to wait and get an order or clean up a spill if there are tons of people at one job. If the job you want to play as is full, you can simply just play another job until the one you want opens up instead of waiting and doing nothing.

There are only three jobs that will be available on release, which are cashier, chef, and janitor. A supplier job will be in the works shortly after release, and we have many other job ideas we would also like to implement in the future.

And lastly, some people just simply prefer doing different jobs and don’t want to cook or do cashier. We understand that, so this allows everyone to enjoy the game in the way they want to enjoy it.

Q: How does the XP system work with this new game?

A: The XP system works similarly to the old worker points system. Here is the list of ways you can earn XP:

Action Amount of XP Obtained
Clean Floor (Janitor) 5 XP
Take Trash to Dumpster (Janitor) 8 XP
Stock Item (Cook) 12 XP
Item Created (Cook) 25 XP
Order Delivered (Cook) 5 XP
Send NPC Order To Kitchen (Cashier) 8 XP
Send Player Order To Kitchen (Cashier) 25 XP

In order to be promoted to the next rank, you need to have a certain amount of XP obtained from any of the jobs available. We are considering slightly making changes to this system in the future after we receive player feedback.

Here are the updated rank names and how much XP is currently needed for that rank. The numbers are set higher because in all 3 jobs you will be exposed to more work than the older game and you do not have to wait around for work as often. We can easily adjust these numbers in the future based on feedback.

Rank Name XP Needed To Obtain
Novice Crew Member (formerly Cashier) Nada, needs to pass a training session.
Experienced Crew Member (formerly Exp. Cashier) 2,500 XP
Senior Crew Member (formerly Cook) 7,500 XP
Advanced Crew Member (formerly Experienced Cook) 20,000 XP
Master Crew Member (formerly Senior Staff) 36,000 XP
Shift Leader 60,000 XP

As you can see, the lower ranks were renamed so all the roles are more general and only express how much XP you have earned. This is so players can work any job they want.

Q: How will trainings sessions work? Do I need to attend a training to work in the new game?

A: Only those ranked “Crew Member in Training” will need to train to work upon release of this new game. This means if you are an Experienced Cashier or Chef, you won’t need to attend trainings anymore. Once you pass that first training and get the first crew member rank, you will not need to train again. So instead of needing to attend 3 trainings throughout your career, you will only need to attend 1 which will be a basic training that trains new members on the main jobs that SizzleBurger has. More information on training sessions will be released soon.

Q: Will my gamepasses that I have in the current game work in the new game?

A: Gamepasses that were purchased in the current game and aren’t discontinued will work in the new game. If a gamepass you own is discontinued, you will receive Burger Bux for the value of that gamepass to buy other in-game items such as pets, cars, and more when they come out.

Q: Can I get a refund for gamepasses that are being discontinued?

A: Roblox doesn’t have a feature that allows developers to issue refunds. Even if they did, you wouldn’t get a refund anyway because you’ve already owned the gamepass for a while and got your money’s worth. Once you use a product from a store in real life, you can’t return it. A similar policy applies here. But to compensate for the gamepasses that are removed, we are giving players Burger Bux for the value of the gamepass, so you may even start the game with a lot more Burger Bux than others!

Q: Are you leaving the old game up?

A: No, this new game will replace the current game. While we understand some players may not like all of these changes at once, we believe they were necessary to reach a wide variety of people while also improving the game experience. What you see in the new game is by no means a final product and there are many things we still have to add to it. There will obviously be bugs and issues as the game has never been tested with hundreds of people on it at the same time. We may consider opening the old game up occasionally for people to visit it.

Q: Does the game lag? Is it mobile-friendly?

A: No, the game doesn’t lag for most people. We have not received any major reports of lag so far, so if you lag at the moment, it may simply be your internet connection or device.

Q: There is something broken in the game! Can you fix it?

A: If something is broken in the game, please report it in our communications server in the bugs channel.

Thanks for reading this FAQ post! I hope this clears up any confusion, and I’ll be updating it frequently if more questions come up!
