Skate System WIP

Heyo, So over the past 2 days (as of posting this) I’ve been developing my own skate system, It’s completely tool-less and uses a mix of Raycasting and spheres for collision, figured I’d share it as people on various discords seem to like it, so I figured you guys might too! Keep in mind it’s heavily WIP, and I’m currently tweaking values to work better

Some things I plan to add:

  • Grind System

  • Proper collisions, as currently, the force makes you drag if you land wrong/run into a wall and doesn’t stop like it should

  • Tricks (Duh)

  • The Ability to go around in Loops, as currently the raycasts mixed with bodyGyro’s dont allow for that with how I have them implemented

Looks epic, maybe add some kind of animation when in mid-air?

Yea I plan to add a falling animation, where the board falls under you when you go in the air, I just haven’t gotten around to it, the main mover part is actually the humanoidrootpart, and the skateboard has a handle<Fakeboard<Real Board setup, so I can move the real board however I want, and the raycasting is done on the Fake board, so if it’s half way through an animation, I plan to make it so when you land, you wipeout
