Skinned Mesh Not Running Animations Properly

Hi! I created an armature in Blender with properly named bones designed to replicate an R15 Roblox rig. However, when I apply an R15 animation to the rig, such as the default roblox walk cycle, the character’s limbs bend in unexpected ways.

Please keep in mind the animations I’m playing were NOT created in Blender. They are simply pre-existing R15 animations that I wish to play on this character

I am not super knowledgeable on skinned meshes and blender rigging, so if someone can identify the issue here and give me a solution that would be great. Thanks!

mmmmm looks like an issue with bone rotations…

the Calestinics Tool is great for finding out whats wrong with a rig before you import it
