Skinned mesh ocean bug

Hi everyone!
im using this place which i got from discord
lol.rbxl (1.1 MB)
but when the character equip tool or using skill causes the whole game to be laggy
you can dowload this place and try it, is there anyway to fix this?

Btw i will make this publish as im not gatekeeper after anything been fixed

Is it a problem with the Skinned mesh?
It sounds more like a problem with the script in your tool or skill that’s causing the lag.

i think so but the tool with the simple script also cause laggy on equip

Does it lag at all if you delete the Mesh and equip the tool?

wdym delete all the mesh, like sea mesh?

Again, please quit replying to yourself.

You didn’t explain if the tool was used to affect the sea mesh so I didn’t assume it was. I was going by the facts you stated in your first post:

  • you’re using a place which you got from Discord that has a Mesh ocean.
  • when you equip a tool or skill the game lags.

I can’t tell what you are trying to do just by a vague description and I’m definitely not going to download a file you got from Discord just to see what’s going on in it.

The requirements for Scripting helpers posts that you deleted when you posted here tells you exactly what information to give, and also not to ask people to write scripts.
If you have an issue with a particular script you’ve written then you can post the script here so we can look at it and try to help.
