Skinned mesh ocean

NOTE: THIS IS STILL IN HEAVY DEV!!!

So in my spare time I have made a skinned mesh ocean with about 4K bones. Im using a water normal map along with a roughness map that I designed. I have not done any optimizations although I do plan on adding quite a few. This took me about 2 months to learn everything that I needed to create this. Following a tutorial by catlike coding Waves getting a bunch of help from some friends I have made this.

In the future I plan on adding:

  • Chunk System (I already have one made I just need to implement it)
  • Frustum Culling
  • Distance Rendering
  • More Customization

Thanks, Im working on a custom frustum culling script right now so that I can reduce lag!
