Skinned Meshes Behaving Weirdly

Hey there.

Full disclosure: I am brand new to skinning meshes. I have followed the tutorial provided on the documentation.

I am trying to make a bendable sail, which is effectively just a plane. I’ve made this, starting in ROBLOX by stacking parts and then unioning/negating them to get the desired shape I want, and then exporting it to blender, rigging it with an armature, and then re-importing it to ROBLOX. It seems to work as intended, bending the mesh as needed, except I get these really odd gaps and glitches:

Here is what the bone structure looks like in Blender, along with the vertices of the mesh (I have been very deliberate to line up the bone endpoints with the vertices):

I can probably upload and send the blend file somewhere, but I figure I am making a really silly mistake. Any advice or tips?
